Weight Routine

REMEMBER the ARM DOCTOR is recommended ONLY for individuals who are physically fit and medically unrestricted. Consult your physician before beginning any exercise program. If, during or after using the ARM DOCTOR you experience pain or soreness, consult your physician immediately.

Perform this series of weight routine exercises first, then perform the stretching exercises in your pre-game warm up routine to help prevent injury.

 

 

ARM CIRCLES

A) Hold the ARM DOCTOR with the right hand
B) Stand with feet shoulder width apart
C) Bend at waist forward
D) Rest the left hand on the left leg
E) With the right arm extended down towards the ground, make circles circles clockwise 20 times and the counter-clockwise 10 times.  Repeat with left arm.

 

 

 

SWINGING PENDULUM

A) Hold the ARM DOCTOR with the right hand
B) Stand with feet shoulder width apart
C) Bend at the waist forward
D) Rest the left hand on the left leg
E) With the right arm extended down towards the ground, with a swinging pendulum motion, rock your ARM DOCTOR right to left. Don't swing more than 1 foot past each knee. Repeat 10 times. Then switch hands and repeat 10 times.
 
 
 
 
 

 
ARM EXTENSIONS
Stand with your feet shoulder width apart. Holding the ARM DOCTOR in your right hand, lift your elbow shoulder high in front of your body. Lift your arm till fully extended above your head. Bring back down to shoulder level. Repeat 10 times. Switch to the left hand and repeat 10 times
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
ROTATOR CUFF
Lay flat on the Ground
Lay your elbow at the same level as your shoulder.
Begin with the ARM DOCTOR on the ground near your head.
Leaving your elbow firmly on the ground, lift the ARM DOCTOR and press it down towards your waist, then rotate back up towards your head. Repeat 10 times. Switch hands and repeat 10 times.
 
 

OUTWARD SHOULDER ROTATIONS

Lie on your left side and hold the ARM DOCTOR with your right hand.
Keep your right elbow close to your body. Slowly raise your hand holding the ARM DOCTOR until it is pointing towards the ceiling and then carefully lower it to the ground. Repeat 10 times. Turn to your right side, and switch hands. Repeat 10 times.

 

NOTE: the ARM DOCTOR may be damaged by dropping on hard surfaces. The ARM DOCTOR and elastic tubing are to be used only as recommended by the Weight Routine and Stretching Routine. Any other use may cause physical harm. The ARM DOCTOR is NOT responsible for injuries from misuse of this device.
